Hi there everyone, my name is Caleb Peyton, and as you guys may know by now, I am a digital painter/illustrator, and I enjoy painting animals, landscapes, people, and many other things that I find interesting. I’ve been drawing for as long as I can remember, but it wasn’t until a few years ago, probably four or five years now, that I started to actually “learn” how to draw, and to try and improve. Drawing before I started learning was only something that I would do while in school, or perhaps on a boring Sunday afternoon, it wasn’t something I was passionate about, nor did I really care for it all that much, but, as fate would have it, I stumbled across an old “how to draw” book for Nintendo characters, while cleaning my room, curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to brush the dust off the pages, and try to give this drawing thing an actual shot. Well, suffice to say, after a few tries, and after many failures, I was hooked, and since that day, I haven’t stopped trying to learn all that I can to push myself to draw better, and to be the best artist that I can.

To this day, I’m completely self taught, though I did take one mandatory art class in high school, and a Drawing I class the following year, but by that time, everything was mostly review, as I had found all the resources before that online for free. I continue to learn online, watching youtube videos, learning from artists on sites like ctrl+paint, creatureartteacher.com, and many others.

I really enjoy showing people the work that I create, and to hear back from others to know what they like, what they didn’t like, and to receive constructive criticism to help me improve in areas that I lack in. I also enjoy helping other artists who are either just starting out, and wanting a few tips to help them improve, and to motivate them to continue to grow, and to never stop doing what they love.

Thank you guys so much for checking out the site, I really appreciate it, and I hope you enjoy my work!
